“Anveshi,” featuring Ananya Nagalla, Vijay Dharan Datla, and Simran Gupta in pivotal roles, has been released under the direction of VJ Khanna. Let’s explore how the film has been received.

“Anveshi,” jise Ananya Nagalla, Vijay Dharan Datla, aur Simran Gupta ne mukhya bhoomikaon mein nibhaya hai, aaj theaters mein release hui hai. Chaliye dekhte hain ki film kaisi hai.”

Story:

At the request of her father, Dr. Anu (Ananya Nagalla) establishes a hospital in her hometown to provide healthcare services to the local community. In a mysterious turn of events, the hospital catches fire, resulting in the tragic deaths of both Anu and her father. Shortly thereafter, a series of murders occur in the vicinity of Anu’s hospital. Vikram (Vijay Dharan Datla) takes it upon himself to unravel the truth behind these deaths. The story revolves around uncovering the identity of the killer and detailing Vikram’s efforts to discover the truth.

“Dr. Anu (Ananya Nagalla) apne pitaji ke anurodh par apne janmabhoomi mein ek hospital sthapit karti hai, jisse sthaaniy samudaay ko swasthya seva mil sake. Ek raazdar ghatna ke parinaamasvaroop, hospital mein aag lagti hai, jiski wajah se Anu aur uske pitaji ki dukhad maut ho jati hai. Thodi der baad, Anu ke hospital ke aspaas kuch hatyayein hoti hain. Vikram (Vijay Dharan Datla) phir is sachai ko khula karne ka jimma leta hai. Kahani us hatyayein ke peeche chhupi raaz ko kholne aur Vikram ke prayas ko detail mein dikhata hai.”

Plus Points:

Vijay Dharan Datla, Simran Gupta, and Ananya Nagalla delivered impressive performances in the movie. However, it was Ajay Ghosh who truly stole the show. Vijay Dharan exhibited confidence in his portrayal, and elements like the forest scenes, the serial murders near Anu’s hospital, and the hero’s quest to solve the mystery were executed decently.

Simran Gupta, besides her good looks, stood out with her performance. Despite having less screen time, Ananya Nagalla made a lasting impression. Some scenes in the second half focused on the crime were passable. Racha Ravi, Dil Ramesh, and other supporting artists fulfilled their roles as expected.

“Vijay Dharan Datla, Simran Gupta, aur Ananya Nagalla ne film mein prabhavit abhinay prastut kiya. Lekin, asli chamak toh Ajay Ghosh ne dikhai. Vijay Dharan ne apne abhinay mein atmasamvedana dikhayi, aur van ke drishya, Anu ke hospital ke aas-paas hue kuch hatyaayein, aur mukhya patra ke raaz ko suljhane ki koshish jaise tatva thekedar taur par kaam kiye gaye.

Simran Gupta, apne acche vyaktitva ke alawa, apne abhinay se bhi nikhar gayi. Kam screen time hone par bhi, Ananya Nagalla ne gehra prabhav chhoda. Dusre half mein kuch hatyaon par dhyan dene wale kuch scenes theek-thak the. Racha Ravi, Dil Ramesh, aur doosre sahayak kalakaron ne apne kirdaaron ko ummeed ke mutabiq nibhaya.”

Minus Points:

Anveshi faces a critical setback in adhering to the fundamental rule of thriller films, which is maintaining a gripping and thrilling narrative until the end. The film falls short in delivering thrilling moments, despite the director’s attempt to elevate it with a few impactful scenes. The first-half screenplay is sluggish, with dull and slow scenes, as the director takes considerable time to introduce characters and the central conflict.

The resolution of the villain’s character lacks an impressive impact, and while a few jokes land well, many miss the mark. Despite the potential for more comedy, the director fails to utilize it effectively. The storyline is straightforward, and the narration follows a routine path. Although the second half shows some improvement, it still contains a few tedious scenes.

“Anveshi ko thriller filmo ke mool niyamon mein ek mahatvapurna dhakka mila hai, jiska moolya hai akarshak aur khatarnaak kahani ko ant tak barkarar rakhna. Film kuch prabhavit scenes ke saath ise oonchaai par laane ki koshish karta hai, lekin yeh thrilling lamhe prastut karne mein kumzor rahi. Pehle half ka screenplay susth nahi hai, jisme dull aur dheere scenes hote hain, kyun ki director ko samay lagega kirdaaron aur mukhya samasya ko introduce karne mein.

Villain ke kirdaar ka niraasakar nivaran prabhavit prabhav se rahit hai, aur jabki kuch mazak achhe se utarte hain, kai chook jaate hain. Jyada hansi ki sambhavna hone par bhi, director ise prabhavit roop se istemaal karne mein asafalta mein raha hai. Kahani seedhi-saadhi hai, aur narration ek routine raaste ko follow karta hai. Haalaanki doosre half mein kuch sudhar dikhaai deta hai, lekin usme bhi kuch thake hue scenes hain.”

Technical Aspects:

Chaitan Bharadwaj’s background score adds an intriguing element to the film. Cinematographer KK Rao’s visuals are stunning, contributing significantly to the movie’s overall appeal. The editing is passable. Producer Ganapathy Reddy has ensured that the film is made without compromising on the budget.

Director VJ Khanna demonstrates skill in executing the climax and action sequences, presenting them in a neat manner. However, the same level of success is not achieved in the remaining portions of the film, where the director falls short.

“Chaitan Bharadwaj ke background score ne film ko ek rahasyamayi mahaul diya hai. Cameraman KK Rao ke visuals bhavya hain, jo movie ke overall appeal mein bahut bada yogdan dete hain. Editing theek-thak hai. Producer Ganapathy Reddy ne dhyan diya hai ki film budget par samjhaute kiye bina banai jaaye.

Director VJ Khanna climax aur action sequences ko execute karne mein kushal dikhate hain, unhe saaf-suthra dhang se pesh karte hain. Lekin, film ke baki hisson mein, jahan director thoda kamzor padta hai, wahaan yeh utna hi kamyaab nahi hota.”

Verdict:

In conclusion, “Anveshi” proves to be an unimpressive thriller. Despite commendable performances from the main leads Vijay Dharan Datla, Simran Gupta, and Ananya Nagalla, the film suffers from a weak screenplay and an excessively slow pace. Consequently, “Anveshi” ends up as a disappointing watch.

“Sankshipt mein kaha jaye toh, ‘Anveshi’ ek nirakarshak thriller sabit hoti hai. Vijay Dharan Datla, Simran Gupta, aur Ananya Nagalla ki sarahniya abhinay se bawjud, film kamzor screenplay aur atyant dheere gati se grast hai. Is parinamswarup, ‘Anveshi’ ek nirashajanak dekhe jane ka natija nikalta hai.”
